I recently visited Saratoga Springs & had a delicious meal at The Merc. We chose this restaurant because of it's reasonably priced menu & the wonderful seating area outside. John G was our server. He was fun & very efficient. I thoroughly enjoyed my poached eggs, bacon, potatoes & toast, all cooked to perfection. I wish I lived closer because I'd love to eat at The Merc on a regular basis!

Everything about this place was flawless! I called this place after a lovely weekend with my bf and his family in the ADK after deciding we needed to stop for lunch. Over the phone I was told there would be a wait but the menu looked so good we decided to go anyways. The hostess was so friendly and recommended we get a drink at the bar upon arrival. The drinks were incredible and came quick (despite how busy it was)!!! Next thing you know our table was ready! Like magic! Our sever Jessica was so lovely, and the food blew us away! The food was high quality, good ingredients and large portions!!! We will be adding this on every summer we are in NY state. My compliments to all of the kitchen staff, bar staff, front of house, and service. Can’t wait to come back soon!!!

Out trying different restaurants. We stopped in and had a fabulous brunch. My wife had the pancakes with an assortment of fresh fruits and I had the over easy eggs with sausage sage gravy. It was delicious.

Great spot for brunch on the main drag in Saratoga! We ate in their outdoor patio area which is in an alley along the side of the building. It was a beautiful Saturday morning in October and packed. The patio is dog friendly and we saw plenty of them enjoying the atmosphere with their humans. Apple cider and pear flavored mimosas kicked things off with fall flavors. Avocado toast was overloaded with at least a full avocado (maybe two?) Cherry tomatoes and a poached egg. The brioche French toast with fruit cup and fresh whipped cream walked a fine line between breakfast and dessert. Service was great and food came out quickly even given how busy both the indoor and outdoor areas were! Kudos to the Merc for pulling this off when other busy restaurants often fall behind.

I absolutely loved the food here. We ordered the tomato bisque soap as a starter and OH MY GOD! That was amazing ! And then I ordered the merc burger and my husband the chicken sandwich.. absolutely delicious 1000000% recommend. P.S the bathroom was so cute and clean

Well, I had the best dated porkchop im my friken life!!! Prices are upthere BUT, BUT, absolutely worth every penny. Service , food atmosphere . Definitely well with the visit. I cant wait to be in the area again LOL

Had brunch at The Merc in Saratoga Springs and left full and happy. We started with a killer plate of crispy Brussels sprouts—perfectly roasted, crunchy on the edges, and served with a tangy mustard dipping sauce that seriously brought it all together. Then came the showstopper: biscuits and sausage gravy topped with fluffy scrambled eggs and served with a side of home fries and peppers. The gravy was rich and peppery, with big chunks of sausage—just how it should be. Paired with the eggs and buttery biscuit underneath, it was the kind of brunch that makes you want to take a nap after (in the best way). If you’re in Saratoga Springs, do yourself a favor and hit up The Merc. This meal slapped.
